Masquerade Ball in support of the Fort McMurray SPCA
The Fort McMurray SPCA (FMSPCA) will be hosting its 2nd Annual Masquerade Ball on Saturday, October 28, 2017.
The annual Masquerade gala features a plated dinner service, complimentary welcome drink,raffle, pumpkin pull, live and silent auctions and lots of dancing!
This formal event provides essential funding to the Fort McMurray SPCA’s programs which serve a diverse group of Wood Buffalo residents from the youngest to our seniors - connecting lives and strengthening resiliency for pet owning households across the region who rely on their non-human family members for important
social and mental health supports. While our programs work to improve and enhance well-being and education through the human-animal bond, our physical shelter also provides a safe haven for
homeless animals who are provided with medical intervention, enrichment, nutritious food and more as our organization works to rehome companion animals through our comprehensive adoption
program. Your sponsorship strengthens a continuum of care and connection across the diverse region we call home.
Our LIVE auction is a unique opportunity for guests to directly impact a capital need at the shelter in which guests can contribute any amount towards the purchase of new equipment, capital
improvements etc. Last year the LIVE auction raised $40,000 where every guest could pledge any amount towards the purchase of a replacement xray machine – an essential diagnostic tool for the
FMSPCA in-shelter clinic. Every guest who made a pledge is honoured with their name on an engraved plaque at the shelter to commemorate their generosity and impact for the Fort McMurray
SPCA.
All businesses that support the event will have their business promoted through our popular social media networks as well as on any printed items or signage for the event. Alternatively, if you would
rather receive a charitable tax receipt for the value of the donation, we would be pleased to do so.
It’s through community support that the FMSPCA has been able to save lives and make a difference for the community for the last 39 years and we greatly appreciate consideration in joining us to make this year’s event a success for our region’s only animal shelter.
